Will YOU JOIN US in Cycling Out Child Poverty 2020?

Due to the Coronavirus this year’s Cycling Out Child Poverty in Vietnam has changed to Cycling Out Child Poverty FOR Vietnam, and all we need is YOU! This means this year’s event can be the biggest one yet. Because all of you can join us – you can donate to my team's campaign and join us in Cycling Out Child Poverty FOR Vietnam. Our goal this year is $175,000, and we are asking for  your help to reach it. The goal is great, but the need is greater, particularly as the impacts of the Coronavirus is slowing the economy, and those with the least suffer the most. 

Your contributions make a big difference to vulnerable  children and their families. Children of Vietnam’s programs have lifted children and families out of poverty in the poorest parts of Vietnam. They are building kindergartens with water purification systems and helping single mothers start businesses in rural areas so that they can send their children to school. Families with a child with disabilities rely on Children of Vietnam’s Hope System of Care to help these children achieve their maximum potential at home and in school. They provide after-school tutoring and other educational enrichment activities to encourage children to stay in school, graduate, and go on to university.

The impact of these programs is substantial. This year 100 more students are attending university. 600 more students stay in school and make progress toward a degree. 795 more children benefit from businesses started by single mothers. 875 more children with disabilities are thriving with the medical, education, and social interventions we support. 1,274 more children are attending the kindergartens we have constructed. Finally, more than 2,400 children are staying healthy by using purified water.
